Course: General Nursing & Midwifery
Health and Hygiene Nursingh Education Institute offers a three year Diploma in General Nursing & Midwifery recognized by the Indian Nursing Council, Rajasthan Nursing Council and Government of Rajasthan.
The course is covered through classroom lectures, field exposure, clinical experience and six months of internship.
Eligibility
We accept both male and female candidates for our course. Hostel accommodation at our Institution, campus is provided to female only.
Duration: Three years
Medium of Instruction
The medium of instruction is English.
Theory Component
This is covered through lectures, assignments, projects, seminars, educational visits and periodic assessment.
Clinical Experience
Health and Hygiene Nursingh Education Institute has a formal arrangement with the Health and Hygiene Nursingh Education Institute, Alwar, for clinical practice. Every student nurse who enrols for our programme receives comprehensive training at this super-specialty hospital. Working with advanced technology and infrastructure at the hospital and medical research centre, and its noted doctors, consultants and specialists, and senior nursing staff offers our students crucial clinical experience. Also, since our parent institution is one of the country's largest super-specialty hospitals, our students are acquainted, first-hand with hospital administrative practices. In addition to the curriculum, we also conduct short-term modules, such as personality development programmes, yoga classes and English-language training, to provide a comprehensive learning experience.
Internship
Internship commences at the end of six months.
When
The course commences on August 1 every year
Counselling & Guidance
Students receive timely personal guidance and counselling should the need arise, and parents / guardians are apprised of the welfare and performance of their wards.
Health Record
Health and Hygiene Nursingh Education Institute maintains a cumulative health record of every student
Reservation
According to INC regulations, 50 per cent seats are set aside for candidates domiciled in Rajasthan (seats not filled during the admission process are transferred to the open category). The remaining seats are open to all. |
